Forum Staff Give Webinars to Harvard Graduate Students
In February, Thaddeus Ferber and Elizabeth Gaines, Program Directors at the Forum, gave lectures at Professor Ronald Ferguson's course "Youth Development and Education Policy" at the Kennedy School of Government. Students in this course represent some of the brightest future leaders who will seek to improve outcomes for children and youth. Thaddeus presented about the history and current status of efforts to encourage the federal government to create a White House Office on Children and Youth. Elizabeth lectured on Ready by 21 models of big picture thinking, planning and action. She outlined the Forum’s roles in supporting state and local policy leaders, and explained the Partnership’s broad definition of leaders as a change-makers with capacity, motivation, authority, and ability to engage others.
