The purpose of the children’s budget report is to provide a comprehensive picture of where the funding streams for children’s programs and other family supports in Madison County originate, where they are channeled, and how they are allocated.  We hope policy makers will utilize the results to make more informed decisions about future investments in children’s programs in our community.  Hopefully, this analysis will also encourage public and private service providers and funders to develop new or expand existing partnerships, which should lead to better coordinated and more efficient services for children and families in Madison County in the future.
